 About Us Close your eyes and imagine, a large forested parcel of land almost a half mile in from the blacktop, with nothing but silence and tranquility; Full of timber with unique bends, bows, and limbs just waiting to be spotted and put to use in some special fashion. This quiet, secluded place has become the home of Abraham's Woodlot Woodworks. Abraham spends much of his time wandering this property harvesting timbers and looking for these special unique trees, limbs, and roots to be used in some upcoming project.  With Abraham being a sixth generation Adirondacker this piece of property has been in the family for many years and has always been referred to as the woodlot. His great great great grandmother lived on the woodlot and, in fact, you can still see the cellar hole to her home today. This property now contains the shop and everything necessary to run this small business. When faced with creating a name for the business, it was decided that it should be named after the woodlot.  Abraham's Woodlot Woodworks specializes in creating handcrafted Adirondack pieces. This work included staircases, railings, twig-work, unique outbuildings, entry-ways, and fine furnishings. Whether it is a log bed, pavilion, sauna, table, or cabin, pieces are created individually for each customer. Timber framing has become a large part of Abes scope of work. Mixing the rugged beauty of true traditional joinery with live edge pieces. Browse through and look things over. Enjoy the hike, see ya in the woods!!
